September 12 2024 – Gabrielle Hawkes
I love a good seasonal holiday jammie, whether it is Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah but even Rosh Hashanah! Or at least I am trying to make it a thing, I want my kids to be excited about the Jewish Holidays, having memories filled with Jewish Happiness and I feel one great way to help kids get excited about holidays is through PJ's, they wear them every night, for the fun holiday ones we talk about whats on them and what we will do for the holiday
I always tryyyyy to do is find PJs that are organic, ideally GOTS certified or OKEO-TEX certified. As a typically millennial mom who spends time mindlessly scrolling on instagram to only be terrified of what's out there, one of them being kids PJ's. I always find it to be a win if they are GOTS or OKEO-TEX certified
What makes kids pajamas GOTS or OKEO-TEX certified?
GOTS Certified - the world's leading processing for textiles made from Organic Fibers. This certification looks at the whole process end to end;
-Environmental impact
-Fair labor practices
-Quality of fabric standards
OKEO-TEX Standard 100 certification - Globally recognized certification label for textiles that have been tested for over 1,000 harmful substances

Wishing you lots of Apples and Honey for this upcoming New Year with your families!
*I will say what is out there for "apples and honey" for pj's this year skews much for feminine and less gender neutral. Apologies out to boy moms (including myself), perhaps next year there will be more gender neutral apple prints out in the world :)
